Mineral Hygienics Review (Discount for my readers!)

So I had the pleasure of working with Mineral Hygienics. I have always wanted to try a mineral makeup. I didn't ever see what all the fuss was about until I realized that it was like an airbrushed effect. That could be something that would be useful with my acne prone skin. With it being 100% natural mineral makeup, I couldn't wait to try this out. I received this last night, and immediately used it this morning after my shower. For you all that have been following my Proactiv updates, you know how much my skin breaks out. For those of you who don't you can check it out for yourself.

Picture 23This is what my face normally looks like after having no makeup on whatsoever. This is the worst side with all the scarring and marks, that this is why I chose it as a comparison. Now check out what it looks like after applying Mineral Hygienics.....

It looks like there are not hardly any scars there. This makeup really does do the trick with the airbrush effect, but instead of picture editing this is how you would look like to everyone else around you all the time, no matter what the flaw that you were worried about.

Now I want to tell you a little bit about the products that I used to get this look. First up, we have the Sheer Foundation. It comes in an assortment of colors. The one that I used here was the light. I also received the medium but it was a little bit dark for my face. It would probably work well in the summer when I have a tan. The color schemes range from fairest all the way to deep.

Picture 30To put this foundation on you will want to work in circular motions that go inward. You want to leave cheeks and chin for last. It may take a minute for the color to set into your skin, and believe me a little bit goes a long way. All I needed for my whole face was what is pictured in the lid here. Like I said, this is the light shade of the mineral sheer foundation. It doesn't look cakey and you do not have to work it into your skin to make it look flawless. Using the Flawless Face Brush offered by Mineral Hygienics it was so easy!

The next step is to use a Mineral Enhancer. I was given Cool Kiss to try because of my lighter complexion, but it also comes in Warm Kiss.

The very last step was to use the Sheer Perfection. I was given the Silk Translucent to try, but it also comes in Matte. Both will give you that airbrushed look, but if you have oily skin the matte will be better for you. You can also use this product as a primer if you so wish to. It can fill in any lines and even out skin.

It works so well as a finisher that is unreal. Now I am going to go over some other products that Mineral Hygienics offers that I was not able to try, but that you may be interested in because at the bottom of this post I am going to post to where you can buy for yourself and use a discount code to do so!
