SnackTaxi Review

I was given the chance to try out Snack Taxi and I received a snack-sack. This little invention is so super convenient for car trips or anywhere out that you would want your child to tote a small snack. My son is always wanting something to snack on at the grocery store and I never had a good way to keep the snack until now. These little sacks are reusable and washable which makes it a penny saver on your wallet. You will not have to buy a whole lot of plastic snack bags. You can also trust that the snacks will not fall out of the bottom or the top during transport. The pattern that I was sent was the "plaidsportation". My little boy's eyes lit up when he first saw it and he wanted to know what it was!

Even before he knew it was meant to transport his snacks he would have readily played with this some other way just because the pattern was cool. They have all sorts of snack sacks that are not just made for kids. Snack Taxi also makes other items for storage that are reusable and washable. Such a cute way and idea to be green and frugal! Make sure that you check them out and get something for yourself.

You can like them on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest to give you more of an idea what they offer as well. Happy going green :)

Disclosure: I was given this product from Snack Taxi in exchange for my honest review, even though it may differ from yours, and I was in no way compensated monetarily for this review.

About Author Liz Schulte

Many authors claim to have known their calling from a young age. Liz Schulte, however, didn't always want to be an author. In fact, she had no clue. Liz wanted to be a veterinarian, then she wanted to be a lawyer, then she wanted to be a criminal profiler. In a valiant effort to keep from becoming Walter Mitty, Liz put pen to paper and began writing her first novel. It was at that moment she realized this is what she was meant to do. As a scribe she could be all of those things and so much more. When Liz isn't writing or on social networks she is inflicting movie quotes and trivia on people, reading, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family. Liz is a Midwest girl through and through, though she would be perfectly happy never having to shovel her driveway again. She has a love for all things spooky, supernatural, and snarky. Her favorite authors range from Edgar Allen Poe to Joseph Heller to Jane Austen to Jim Butcher and everything in between.Follow Liz Schulte:

Do you think it's better to play it safe or to take risks?

Ever since my move this week, I have been so far behind on blogging about anything! I wanted to take the chance and address this because it definitely falls into my life right about now. My hubs and I were living with our kids in a family owned home. We really didn't have to pay any rent and all we had to worry about was ourselves and getting the kids what they needed. We made the decision after I picked up a part time job that we needed to move closer to that and his already 45-minute away full time job. For those of you who do not know location we are now centrally located in Chesapeake between his job and mine. It takes us each about 10-15 minutes to get to work. The neighborhood is not bad and we are finally in a place where we are on our own.

You might be asking how this deals with risks or playing it safe.....

We went from zero rent and utilities to $750 rent and now we have to pay electricity and water. We already paid our cable and cell service at the other home, but still this is scary with having two kids! Before the other home we were paying our way but with just one child and were struggling. That is when the family owned home was offered to us to help us save some moolah.

I am definitely scared of doing the rent thing again. I would hate to be in over our heads. I think with enough money and planning we can do this. With my little PT job going into savings, we will only have to put in 150 from his checks to make rent. The rest is up to him to pay from his checks. We have no idea what the usage costs will be for the new place and so we can not exactly budget until we see the first bill. Also a huge scary risk when trying to buy groceries and household items. You don't want to spend too much and then be behind on the other bills.

To anyone that has not made it out on their own yet or is about to make a move......weigh the pros and cons and sometimes it is better to just take the risk than to play it safe!!
